Make your money work to end poverty

National Ethical Investment WeekYou can help to end poverty by simply ensuring your money is invested in companies that benefit the environment and those in poverty.

It’s National Ethical Investment week from 18 to 24 May, so it’s a great time to look at the options available.

There are easy ways to make your money work to end poverty:Ugandan money

• You can choose an ethical current current account, or a savings account, such as an Individual Savings Account (ISA), or a Child Trust Fund (CTF). *

Find out if your bank offers such accounts, and if not, ask them why they don’t.
 

  • You can choose an ethical pension.

Ask your pension provider for your ethical investment options. Find out whether your company pension plan is ethical, and if it isn’t, ask them to invest in one that is.
