All of the below awards and rewards will be announced and presented at the Trailwalker Celebration (formerly Heroes Reception) on Friday 26 October at the Holiday Inn in Regents Park. Watch this space for further information.
Calling all nominees — Most Innovative Fundraising award
As
part of the sponsorship by State Street Bank and Trust
Company (“State Street”) of Trailwalker UK
for the second consecutive year, State Street is proud
to unveil an award for the Most Innovative Fundraising,
which recognises the participant who has come up with the
most innovative way of raising money for this year’s
event.
Award contestants must have finished the walk, as part of a team of four, and submit a 300-word description that illustrates the creative and resourceful way they chose to raise money for this event. Photographs are welcome where applicable and nominations made on behalf of another participant will also be accepted.
The winner, to be announced in October, will receive £1200 plus a £3,000 donation from the State Street Foundation to be awarded in the recipient’s name to one of the many community projects that Oxfam GB or the Gurkha Welfare Trust support.

The deadline for the Most Innovative Fundraising Award has been extended to15 September 2007. Nominations must include the team name, team leader name and nominator name (if applicable) and may be sent:

Top fundraisers
Awarded to the team recognised by Oxfam as having the highest amount of sponsorship by the specified fundraising deadline. In 2005, one team managed £15,285!
Please note: money that you have collected and not submitted to Oxfam by the fundraising deadline cannot be taken into consideration when allocating this award.
Best team spirit
