Come join Oxfam in the social networking world!
Are you fanatical about Facebook? Mesmerised by MySpace? Fixated with Flickr? Or do you put the "you" in YouTube? Then help to spread the word about Oxfam by becoming our friend!
And then maybe ask your friends to become our friend, and then ask your friends to ask their friends, and so on.
Why is Oxfam using social networking sites?
Increasingly people are expressing themselves on social networking sites and using them as a tool to join others who share similar interests and beliefs. That's why Oxfam is taking our message to where you are on Facebook, MySpace, Flickr and YouTube.
How is becoming a friend of Oxfam helpful to fighting our cause?
By becoming a friend, or fan, of Oxfam, you can easily share what you are doing with friends and family, and get them to do the same. The more support Oxfam has, the greater the impact we can have on overcoming poverty and suffering.
Oxfam has a number of groups on Facebook looking at different issues that we work on. The main, overarching group is "Oxfam GB" and can be found using the search feature. We are in the process of setting up a Fan Page too, so if you don't want to join a group, please support us on there.

Have a look on our Flickr pages to see how Oxfam activists are taking action to show their support for fighting climate poverty, making trade fair, demanding more health and education workers and forcing tighter controls on the arms trade. Become our friend and share your photos with us.
