Oh my goodness! After 5 days of non-stop sun, mud, music and madness, we’re back, just about in one piece, from a kicking Glastonbury 2004!
Arriving late on Wednesday night after a day of rain and gale force winds, we slopped our way through gloopy mud to the festival site.
Our work kicked off early on a sunny Thursday morning. Just to the left of the Pyramid stage was the Oxfam campaigns tent, which was buzzing with activity right through till Sunday evening.
The main Oxfam campaign at Glastonbury was ‘Play Fair at the Olympics’ - a call for workers rights in the sportwear industry. We got more than 18,000 signatures, which will make a real difference.
Also on the stand were three of us from GenerationWhy, displaying our exclusive new range of t-shirts - which caused quite a stir, if we say so ourselves! Check out the designs and tell us what you think.
As well as t-shirt selling, photo-taking, and signature gathering, we still found some time to check out the bands. Laura luuurved South, and getting down to Groove Armada in the sun, Monica was getting into the Engine Room Collective, and Jack thought the Goldie Lookin' Chain boys rocked the dance tent!
