I know, I know... you'd love to give Oxfam a donation but, frankly, rent isn't getting any cheaper and a couple of evenings' bar work each week hasn't exactly made you a big spender...

But wait a minute. We're only asking for £2 a month. That's the price of a sandwich, or just 7p a day. Not much is it?

£2 is, however, the cost of a hen in Honduras, providing a supply of eggs and income for a family.

It could also pay for a set of textbooks for a schoolchild in Mali.

Within six months, your money could pay for the training of an on-call volunteer in India to help their community during the annual floods.

Giving a regular donation also helps Oxfam to plan and budget its projects more effectively, since it can rely on your money coming through each month.
